Chicago in 1929...Gangsters, tough law...Two unlucky musicians, Jerry and Joe, barely make ends meet. Double bass and saxophone are all their wealth. Freezing in the wind, they wander from bar to bar to earn a few cents. And here is another trouble: by the will of fate, they become witnesses of a gangster showdown... They need to run away urgently, and the idea is to change into women and get a job in a women's jazz group - it seems like a lifesaver!
