What do we know about British cuisine? Traditional British cuisine is quite simple and high in calories. Dishes contain a lot of cheese and bread, meat, poultry, freshwater and marine fish. Potatoes are considered one of the main components of British cuisine.

The British are especially fond of "fish and chips" - fish fried in batter and served with French fries.
