East European Beer Award-2017      On October 18, 2017, the East European Beer Award international tasting competition was held in the city of Rivne. The audience of the competition is not only Ukraine, but also CIS countries and the whole of Eastern Europe. All professional brewers were invited to participate: from regional and large commercial enterprises to craft mini-breweries. The best were determined on the basis of general voting. The East European Beer Award sets the bar for quality and allows you to objectively judge the place each brewery currently occupies on the market. We note that it will be held annually, in the fall, within the framework of the International Forum of Brewers and Restaurateurs. The Ukrainian tasting competition is completely independent and open. The organizer is an independent company unrelated to brewing - the publishing project "Technologies and Innovations". The event takes place on neutral territory, there are no brewers among the sponsors. Tasting is conducted blindly. The competition is controlled by an independent verifier company. The method of beer evaluation was developed by the general partner of the competition - the Kyiv Beer League. The organizing committee of the East European Beer Award-2017 included well-known Ukrainian restaurateurs, brewers and connoisseurs, as well as the author of the idea of the Brewers Forum and the competition, publisher Ekaterina Koneva. Achievements of ALTBIER beer We took part in the International Beer Competition for the first time and immediately became winners! The tasting competition East European Beer Award - 2017 recognized pennoe ALTBIER as the best in Ukraine. Among 130 different varieties from about 50 Ukrainian breweries and representatives of the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Poland, the team of tasters awarded prizes to our 3rd varieties that were presented at the competition:

• 1st place in the Flavor beer nomination to our "French Ale";
• the bronze medal in the Dark Lager category went to Cabinet Black.
