The Altbir family of restaurants is hosting an independent beer tasting competition East Europen Beer Award-2018!

On October 9-10, the "Altbir" restaurant family hosts the East European Beer Award-2018 independent beer tasting competition! Last year, we became the gold and bronze winners of this competition, so it was we who were entrusted with the organization of a large-scale reception of brewers, restaurateurs and authoritative tasters from Ukraine and Europe.

East European Beer Award is the first independent and objective tasting competition in Ukraine, which is held according to European rules and standards. Ego's mission is to promote the development of brewing and improve the quality of beer. The first competition took place on September 14, 2016 in Lviv. Then the brewers submitted 45 samples of beer in three nominations for consideration by the tasters.

Professional brewers take part in the East European Beer Award: from regional and large commercial enterprises to craft mini-breweries. The main principles of the competition are unchanged from year to year — independence, objectivity and openness, blind tasting of samples, democratic selection of judges and a large number of judges for objective evaluation.
