"Battle of the bosses. Portugal" — a new menu in the show-restaurant ALTBIER!

While everyone celebrated the holidays, our VIP chefs fought in a culinary battle and prepared legendary dishes of Portuguese cuisine. From May 4, we invite our beloved guests to a tasting of the new menu - "Battle of the chefs. Portugal".

Portugal is the oldest country in Europe. This is an amazing country, known for its azulejo tiles, lyrical fado and mind-blowing capes at the edge of the earth. Portuguese cuisine is considered one of the most useful and interesting in the world. As the Portuguese themselves joke, it relies on 3 whales: seafood, port wine and custard pies. For local residents, a set table is an occasion to chat with family and friends, discuss the latest news and have a hearty laugh.

Menu "Battle of the bosses. Portugal" turned out to be diverse, as our chefs reflected the culinary features of different regions. We suggest starting your acquaintance with Portuguese cuisine with a light salad: "Carapau" with spicy mackerel, "Porto" with tiger prawns, Tuna salad on crispy bread or "Vitela em Lula" - squid stuffed with beef.

After the appetizer, we move on to hearty aromatic soups: "Sopa de crema" - a cream soup made of chickpeas and vegetables with oily fish, "Cataplana" with cocktail shrimp, zander and vegetables, "Sopa de Pedro" - a rich soup with an abundance of smoked meats, pork and vegetables

When developing the main dishes, we could not choose the best of the best for a long time. As a result, they prepared as many as 6 delicious dishes for every taste. Try the traditional "Kaldeirada" - stew with fish, vegetables and seafood. If you want something meaty, order the chicken fillet with sausages "Cozido a Alentejana" or the baked pork rib in spices "Porco em Portuguesa". Lamb loin with stuffed pepper, chili pepper stuffed with young cheese, mussels with pork and turnips - we assure you, you have never tried such a combination of tastes! And the best addition to the new dishes will be the beloved ALTBIER penne.
