Georgian menu in the show-restaurant ALTBIER!

Georgia is emerald mountain peaks and blue rivers, blooming valleys and centuries-old cities. But one of the main attractions of the country is the national cuisine, one of the oldest in the world. On September 28, the show-restaurant ALTBIER will host the presentation of the new menu of the "Battle of Chefs" project - "Georgian cuisine".

The national cuisine of Georgia is as multi-voiced as its soulful people. Each region of the country has its own traditional dishes and culinary secrets. The leading place in Georgian cuisine is occupied by vegetables, wild herbs, freshly caught fish, meat, pastries and sauces.

Georgians love to gather noisy companies, so their tables are always overflowing with generous treats. We suggest starting your acquaintance with Georgian cuisine with legendary snacks - "Phala" salad and Eggplants with walnut paste. And if you want something hot, try rich mutton Shurpa or Kharcho - a thick, burning, spicy beef soup with walnuts, plums, tkemala and greens.

We have included 5 legendary items in the main dishes: Khinkali made from minced pork and beef, Lyulya kebab made from lamb, Lobio, Chakapula made from lamb and Chahokhbili made from chicken.

A special place in the Georgian menu is occupied by pastries prepared according to old recipes. We serve traditional Ossetian pie with chicken, Imeretian cheese and spinach with three types of phala. From the mountainous part of Georgia, we took Svansky pie with a thin dough and juicy pieces of lamb. And, of course, our chefs prepared one of the most famous Georgian dishes - Khachapuri in the Adjarian style with a large amount of suluguna and a baked egg.

The Georgian menu has two items for those with a sweet tooth: the classic puff pastry apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and the multi-layer Mikado chocolate cake.
